THE QUALITY
Founded in 2015, our small farm implemented world top standards for cow meat farming. From the origin of cows to special care and feeding. We believe that responsibility in the food sector is crucial for a better world. The quality is recognized between our clients which became long-term partners.
Fondată în 2015, mica fermă a implementat standarde de top în industria cărnii de vită, de la originea exemplarelor (rase recunoscute pentru calitate), până la grija în creştere şi hrănire. Credem că responsabilitatea în industria alimentară este crucială pentru o lume mai bună. Calitatea Torro este recunoscută de clienţii noştri, care au devenit parteneri pe termen lung.
TORRO FIGURES
There are over 3 ha of facility spaces (spaces dedicated to grooming and feeding the animals) at the Torro farm, all surrounded by another 200 ha of terrain, of which 150 ha of crops and 45 ha of pasture.
Our crops produce lucerne hay, cereal, corn and sunflower, all fundamental components of interior cattle fodder.
The Torro herd is made up of over 250 heifers and young bulls, split into two races, Angus and Limousin, both from original sources (France and Ireland, with monitored genetics for at least 4 generations and pedigree).
The cows are delivered to our clients when they reach 18-20 months old, weighting over 700 kg or, at request, even younger (6-12 months old) weighting just over 400 kg.
Facilitățile fermei Torro (spații specializate de îngrijire și hrană) se întind pe 3 hectare, ferma fiind înconjurată de 200 de hectare de teren, din care 150 ha sunt culturi și 45 de ha sunt pășuni.
Culturile sunt reprezentate de lucernă pentru fân, păioase, porumb și floarea soarelui, acestea fiind baza pentru furajul bovinelor în interior.
Efectivele Torro sunt de peste 250 de capete împărțite între cele două rase, Angus și Limousin, provenind din surse originare (Franța și Irlanda, cu genetică care s-a urmărit pe minim 4 generații și pedigree).
Bovinele se livrează clienților la 18-20 luni, cu greutăți de 700+ kg sau, la cerere, efective tinere (6-12 luni) cu greutăți 400+ kg.
LIMOUSIN IN BRIEF
Cattle found in cave drawings estimated to be 20,000 years old in the Lascaux Cave near Montignac, France, have a striking resemblance to today’s Limousin. Limousin cattle made a deep impression in French cattle shows during the 1850s. The first show wins were at the Bordeaux Fair where Limousin took second and third places. Perhaps the strongest quality of the Limousin breed is its high immune system, with almost no illnesses. The best steak connoisseurs and chefs will tell you that Limousin beef cattle provide excellent meat quality.

Desenele cu bovine găsite cu o vechime de 20.000 de ani în peştera Lascaux – Franţa, au o legătură puternică cu rasa Limousin de astăzi. Rasa Limousin a făcut o bună impresie în 1850, la un show bovin – Bordeaux Fair, câştigând locurile 2 şi 3. Probabil, una din calităţile fundamentale ale acestei rase este sistemul imunitar, rezistent la boli. Cei mai buni cunoscători şi bucătari din lume îţi vor spune că Limousin este o carne de vită excelentă.

ANGUS IN BRIEF
Angus beef comes from a Scottish breed of cattle in the 16th century, called Aberdeen Angus. Angus were bred to be robust and sturdy so they could thrive in the cold Scottish winters, and so they developed more muscular bodies. Angus is recognised as more of an exclusive or high-quality meat, secured in Australian hearts since 1820, Argentina since 1879 or United States, and its popularity grew through this exposure.
Premium Angus is a beef obtained from cattle with top genetics, bred in a natural way. At Torro, Angus continues the tradition of high quality meat.

Vita Angus provine din Scoţia, încă din secolul al 16-lea, unde este numită Aberdeen Angus. Angus este o rasă robustă şi musculară, pentru a putea rezista iernilor geroase din Scoţia. Poziţia de carne de vită exclusivă a fost posibilă după popularitatea avută în Australia (începând cu 1820), Argentina (din 1879) sau Statele Unite unde au avut un rol important în dezvoltarea industriei de carne de vită. Premium Angus este o carne obţinută din rase de top Angus, hrănite în mod natural. Iar Torro, respectă tradiţia oferind calitatea premium.

THE FARM PROCESS
The grassing parcels are rotated every three weeks. The terrain near the farm and the pasture are enriched with liquid and solid dejects, providing the best solution for soil Bio-fertilization. The ratio is equilibrated both energo-proteic and vitamino-minerals, avoiding overweighting, which may compromise reproduction. In the finishing period of the last three months the ratio is modified in order to achieve the best quality meat for the slaughtering purpose.
Parcelele pentru pășunat sunt schimbate o dată la 3 săptămâni. Terenul din jurul fermei și pășunile sunt îmbogățite cu dejecții lichide și solide, asigurând astfel cea mai bună soluție pentru Bio-fertilizare. Rația este una echilibrată, atât din punct de vedere energo-proteic, cât și vitamino-mineral, evitându-se suprasolicitarea, care ar putea compromite reproducerea. La finalul ultimelor 3 luni, rația este modificată cu scopul de a obține carnea de cea mai înaltă calitate pentru abatorizare.
